Second Wednesday of each month

Location:
Wandering Vine
378 Railroad Street
St. Johnsbury, VT

Poets and poetry lovers are invited to gather at Wandering Vine in St. Johnsbury, Vermont to share food and words at a Poetry Potluck hosted by Catamount Arts, as part of PoemTown St. Johnsbury. Poetry Potlucks will be held on the second Wednesday of each month from 7-9pm. Each gathering is hosted by a local poet.

On June 10th bring your poems-in-progress for friendly feedback time, facilitated by 560 Railroad Community Artist Rachael Fowler. Rachael will also be available that evening to schedule one-on-one feedback sessions between June 11 and June 17 for your creative writing project.

Rachael Fowler’s short fiction has been published by The Literary Review, North American Review, Prime Number Magazine, Southern Humanities Review, and Fugue. Her novel Whale Bones is forthcoming from Ricochet Press. Her writing has also been awarded funding through the Mississippi Arts Commission and residencies with the Vermont Studio Center, Nocefresca, Yaddo, and The Studios at MASS MoCA. She earned her PhD in Creative Writing (Fiction) from the University of Southern Mississippi’s Center for Writers, where she currently serves as Assistant Teaching Professor of English, Coordinator of the Young Authors Academy, and Editor of Mississippi Review.

All are welcome to bring poems or prose of their own or of others to read, or just come to listen and share food and conversation with other poetry lovers. There is no obligation to bring food, but participants are welcome to do so.
