We’re excited to report that progress has been made toward re-opening our beloved Eastern Avenue arts center! It’s been months since the discovery of environmental pollutants forced us to evacuate our 115 Eastern Avenue home base for the safety of our team and guests. We’re grateful for your patience and support as we continue working with Stone Environmental and the Vermont Department of Conservation to develop and implement a corrective action plan, and we’re hoping to welcome you back safely to Catamount Arts on Eastern Avenue early in the New Year!

In the meantime, the show(s) must go on, and we’ve been tremendously moved by neighboring businesses, organizations, and community members like you asking “How can we help?” Support for Catamount Arts during this disruptive dislocation has come from friends and dozens of community partners like The Green Mountain Mall, where we’ve set up temporary administrative offices, Northern Counties Health Care, where we’ve opened a pop-up box office and gallery right on Railroad Street, and our friends at the Star Theatre who are broadcasting our Metropolitan Opera screenings while our building is being remediated.

If you’re looking for ways to support Catamount Arts, please consider buying a Charge Up the Arts raffle ticket for your chance to win a brand new Chevy Bolt electric vehicle on November 4th! Come to the 2023 Catamount Arts Gala and Auction, on November 17th! And of course, keep coming out to amazing shows like Catamount Bluegrass Night at the ArtPort, Pilobolus at LI’s Alumni Auditorium, or EK Duo at the York Street Meeting House!

Thanks for supporting your community arts center, Catamount Arts! Whether at the ArtPort, the box office and gallery at Caplan’s, or, down the road, back home on Eastern Avenue, we can’t wait to see you soon!
