Make Music Vermont brings music makers of all ages and experience together on June 21st, the first day of summer — a free celebration of music-making that takes place on the same day in more than 120 countries and 1,000 cities across the globe.

Anyone can take part in Make Music Vermont. Make Music VT is open to artists of all ages, genres, and levels of ability. All day long, anyone lucky enough to be in Vermont can join in to make music or enjoy being surrounded by it. It’s the longest day of the year, the best to spend making music!

A curated open-mic style performance featuring volunteer musicians will take place on the green at United Community Church in St. Johnsbury on Friday, June 21st. Short music performances are scheduled from 5 pm to 8 pm, and each artist/band will have a 15 minute slot for their performance. There will be 5 minutes in between artists for band changeover.

Bring a blanket or lawn chairs to sit on. Bring a picnic or purchase food from Maria’s Kusina!
