Speak the Food, Eat the Language is a series of new works by Nico Lima exploring food as a portal into the realm of ceremony, shared nourishment and that which feeds the soul. Through painting, printmaking, drawing and installation, the works explore both the material and social aspects of food, opening up to a personal mythology of sustenance.
There will be an opening reception on Friday, April 3 from 4 pm to 7 pm. We gratefully accept canned goods for local food pantry.
