Catamount Arts Bluegrass Night is back, with hosts Bob & Sarah Amos, and featuring the Burlington VT all star band, Hot Pickin’ Party!
Hosted by the acclaimed father-daughter duo Bob & Sarah Amos, who recently had a #1 album and #1 song on the national Folk charts, the Bluegrass Night concert series features the best bluegrass and acoustic music acts in New England, and is held in the Alexander Twilight Theater, on the Vermont State University – Lyndon campus.
Burlington Vermont’s Hot Pickin’ Party features guitarist Doug Perkins, dobro player Adam Frehm, mandolinist Matt Schrag and bassist Mike Santosusso. The award-winning group’s music celebrates Bluegrass and Americana music with dynamic musical interplay, heartfelt harmonies, and a spirit of exploration. You’ll hear a mix of originals, traditional bluegrass, fun cover songs and lots of exciting improvisation. A Hot Pickin’ Party show is just as the name says, full of hot pickin’ and a party that’s not to be missed!
As always, admission to Bluegrass Night is free, but donations will be gratefully received.
