St. Johnsbury – Catamount Arts is currently accepting artist submissions for the 2027 Arts Connect at Catamount Arts Juried Members Exhibition, an annual showcase celebrating the creativity and vision of both emerging and established artists from our region and beyond. Catamount Arts welcomes submissions in all media from Catamount Arts Artist Members. (A one-year Catamount Arts membership is included with the submission fee.)
Artists are welcome to submit up to three works created within the past three years. Submissions must be made through the designated online portal at catamountarts.org by Sunday, November 15th, at 11:59pm. No late or emailed submissions will be accepted.
The exhibition will take place at Catamount Arts in the Fried Family and Rankin Galleries from December 31, 2026, through April 4th, 2027. There will be a reception on Saturday, January 16th, 2027, from 2-4pm, at which time prizes will be announced. A guest juror will award three cash prizes and six honorable mentions.
Catamount Arts, in St. Johnsbury, VT, features both internationally recognized and talented local artists in diverse exhibitions of painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography, new media and installation in two galleries on their Eastern Avenue creative campus. The Fried Family Gallery is dedicated to an exploration of contemporary art in curated exhibitions that both challenge and delight viewers. The Rankin Gallery, made possible by generosity of Gerald and Judith Rankin, is an intimate space featuring work by member artists who make application to the annual juried show Arts Connect at Catamount Arts.
