This is a alcohol-free, smoke-free event.
Held at 6:30 p.m. on the 1st Wednesday of each month from October through May (except January). This community Bluegrass Jam is presented by St. Andrew’s Church, St. Johnbury VT, in partnership with Catamount Arts and welcomes “jammers” of all ages and abilities, providing a low-pressure opportunity for people to play as part of a group. Also welcome are enthusiastic listeners, and singing along is encouraged! The event is free but donations are encouraged. This month (February) we will be downstairs in the cozy parish hall. The door to the parish hall is in the rear of the church.
Around 7:30 p.m., we’ll have a brief “dessert potluck” intermission—bring a treat to share if you’d like! While there’s no admission fee, donations are warmly appreciated to help cover facility costs. Comfortable seating is provided for listeners, and musicians are encouraged to arrive by 6:15 p.m. to tune up and get settled.
