Spend a full day exploring the rich, tactile art of handmade paper. In this immersive workshop, participants will learn how to transform fibers into unique sheets of paper, including an introduction to using a Hollander beater to create pulp. Experiment with pigments and embedded materials to craft one-of-a-kind pieces. Participants are encouraged to bring small 2D materials—such as fabric scraps, paper text or images, dried leaves, string, or lace—to incorporate into their work.
This outdoor workshop includes a midday break—please bring your own lunch. A detailed materials and preparation list will be emailed to registered participants.
Materials Fee: $25 per participant payable to the instructor the day of the workshop
