Description:
“Mr. Nobody Against Putin” is a gripping and deeply personal documentary following Pavel Talankin, a young teacher and school videographer in a small Russian town, as his workplace becomes a frontline for state propaganda after the invasion of Ukraine. Tasked with filming patriotic assemblies and pro-war messaging, Pavel secretly records the reality behind the scenes—capturing the moral pressure, quiet resistance, and fear experienced by ordinary citizens caught inside an authoritarian system. Intimate, urgent, and courageous, the film offers a rare inside look at how ideology is enforced in everyday life, and what it means to bear witness when speaking out carries real risk.
