In this powerful 2025 Met performance, soprano Angel Blue sings the title role of Verdi’s Egyptian drama, going head-to-head with mezzo-soprano Judit Kutasi as her royal rival, Amneris. Tenor Piotr Beczała is the warrior Radamès, opposite baritone Quinn Kelsey as the Ethiopian king Amonasro. Music Director Yannick Nézet-Séguin conducts a grand new production by Tony Award–winner Michael Mayer, which brings audiences inside the towering pyramids and gilded tombs of ancient Egypt with intricate projections and dazzling animations.
