Teaching Artists (5/1/24)

Catamount Arts seeks teaching artists for year-round creative enrichment programs for all ages. The goal of our education programs is to deliver high-quality creative experiences to youth and adults in St. Johnsbury and surrounding towns.

Teaching positions include the following, and may be in any discipline/media:

  • Afterschool activity leaders for elementary/middle school students (programming taking place in local schools)
  • Instructors for homeschool classes at the Catamount Arts Center
  • School vacation and summer camp instructors for elementary/middle school students (on site at our Arts Center and in local schools)
  • Artists-in-residence at local preschool centers
  • Instructors of classes and workshops for adults and high school students
  • Experienced strings teachers (violin, viola, cello) for our intensive EPIC Music program
  • Workshop leaders for our teen Open Mic program
  • Instructors for community programs in spaces such as farmers’ markets, festival sites, and more

Potential teaching artists may apply to teach by completing a Teaching Artist Proposal Form and emailing Education Director Anne Campbell at acampbell@catamountarts.org to let her know you have submitted a form. For more information, you may call Anne at 802-748-2600 ext. 109.
