St. Andrew’s Church, in partnership with Catamount Arts, is excited to present the Community Coffeehouse Concert Series. This series features singer-songwriters and acoustic folk ensembles from the Northeast Kingdom and beyond! On Friday November 14 the series will feature the acoustic trio Chickweed, as well as host Bob Amos, at 7p.m., at St. Andrew’s Church, 1265 Main Street, St. Johnsbury VT.
Acclaimed Vermont songwriter and performer Bob Amos hosts the series. This month’s feature guest act is Chickweed, a wonderful acoustic trio featuring creative arrangements of original and traditional songs, with intricate harmony vocals. Chickweed includes guitarist Linda Warnaar, bassist Fran Forim and percussionist Abbey Maier Johnson. Singer-songwriter Jon Speer will also make his debut coffeehouse performance this month.
Series host Bob Amos says “The acoustics in the St. Andrew’s Church sanctuary are superb, and the space will be set up in an intimate coffeehouse style, with candle-lit tables as well as normal chair seating. A nice selection of small plate main courses and other food delights and beverages will be available, adding to the coffeehouse vibe, so come early to grab a bite to eat. This series provides a performing opportunity in a beautiful smaller concert venue for the many wonderful singer-songwriters and folk ensembles in our region.”
