Catamount Arts is once again pleased to present work by Stephen Huneck in an exhibition that explores the frequent appearance of angelic form, both human and canine, in sculpture, carved furniture and prints. “I try to give my work an almost magical energy that makes the viewer feel good,” the artist once remarked. These frequently appearing winged messengers reference not only his long-standing interest in this American folk art tradition, but also a commitment to creating art that could lift the human spirit.
