Catamount Arts is pleased to present Four Seasons: Alice Kitchel, on view in the Rankin Gallery from March 9-April 20, 2018.

On Saturday, March 10 from 5-7 pm, the St. Johnsbury Business and Professional Women’s Association will host a special reception for the artists in celebration of March as National Women’s Month.  All are welcome to attend.

ABOUT THE EXHIBITION:  Alice Kitchel directs us outside by recording the subtlety of light on the fields and forests near her home.  Trained as an

art therapist, Kitchel is primarily self-taught as a painter with a focus on landscape and figuration.  She has studied at the Vermont Studio Center and regularly participates in a life drawing group. She has previously exhibited at Arts Alive in Burlington, VT, at Catamount Arts, and in the Round Barn in Waitsfield, VT.  Kitchel lives and works in Danville, VT.
