The Catamount Arts Team is a dedicated group of individuals who work passionately to fulfill Catamount’s mission to inspire appreciation of and participation in the arts, promote the arts throughout the region, and cultivate the arts as an integral part of community life.  Our Vision is to be a vibrant and sustainable Arts institution, serving as an essential force in the Arts for individuals, organizations and communities throughout the region.

Andrea Otto (she/her) is the Community Liaison and Film Curator for Catamount Arts. Andrea works with various partners including community organizations and artists to make the arts more accessible and integral to programs throughout the Northeast Kingdom. When not curating a community film discussion, installing artwork, or collaborating on a community event, Andrea resides in Peacham with her husband on an off-grid homestead. Andrea also is a singer, and performs with local folk band Rake Factory Union.

Ashley lives in Lyndonville with her husband, two children, and her cat, Figaro. Ashley earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Lyndon State College in 2009, then taught Kindergarten and worked at St. Johnsbury Pediatrics before joining the Catamount Arts team in August 2016. Outside of Catamount, Ashley enjoys reading, traveling, paper crafting, photography, and spending time with her family.

Ashley currently handles the majority of the fundraising for events such as the Levitt AMP St. Johnsbury Music Series and First Night North. She works with the marketing team to develop print, social, and press materials, and manages the marketing timeline for events including our two annual raffles, KCP Presents, and our Annual Benefit Auction. Ashley also organizes the annual appeal.

As the First Night North Coordinator, Ashley not only works with local businesses for sponsorships for the event, but she manages all marketing materials, and is the main event contact on the evening of the event.

Martin Bryan, Membership, Room Rental and Volunteer Coordinator

Martin has been a St. Johnsbury resident for most of his adult life. He was raised in Western Massachusetts, and is a 1969 graduate of Eastern Connecticut State University with a B.S. in education. He is a former elementary school teacher and has been on the staff of Catamount Arts since the early 2000s; formerly he was a volunteer.

As an avid collector of vintage sound recordings and related ephemera, Martin has a profound appreciation for history and the need for its preservation. He is a former president of the St. Johnsbury Historical Society, and he currently serves as secretary of the St. Johnsbury History and Heritage Center.

In addition to being the Membership Coordinator, Martin’s duties include Box Office back-up, curating the video rental collection, booking Catamount’s facilities for public use, etc. He likes to think of himself as Catamount’s oldest intern!

Patrick Black, Ticketing/Regional Box Office Manager & Head Projectionist

Patrick started working for Catamount straight out of college in the summer of 1987, eventually becoming the chief projectionist and part time box office. When he came back from Arizona, where he ended his time at Lake Powell Resorts and Marinas as Front Office Manager of the Wahweap Lodge, he returned to being the chief projectionist as well as being full time in the box office.

Currently Patrick is responsible for creating content for and maintaining the ticketing system, maintaining the Catamount websites, handling email communications with customers, and maintaining/building relationships with our presenting partners. He also oversees Catamount’s two theaters, managing content (film, satellite, and DVDs), maintaining equipment, and providing technical support to the staff.
