Description:
Ricky, a transgender woman in Kentucky, dreams of becoming a fashion designer in New York. Her life takes an unexpected turn when she forms a romantic connection with Francesca, a woman engaged to a Marine. This tender and humorous film explores themes of identity, love, and self-acceptance.

During Pride Month, Rev. Brendan Hadash will present four free romantic comedy movies exploring different aspects of the LGBTQ+ community on Wednesdays at 6 PM in June, followed by a discussion.
Rev. Brendan Hadash served as minister of the Universalist Unitarian Congregation of St. Johnsbury for 19 years. A local leader during the battle for civil unions and same-sex marriage, he recently portrayed a conservative politician in the Littleton production of La Cage Aux Folles. He resides in St. Johnsbury with his husband, celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary.
