Fearless independent journalist Amy Goodman has spent three decades reporting from conflict zones, protest lines, and the Democracy Now! newsroom, amplifying voices too often ignored by commercial media. From Oscar-nominated filmmakers Carl Deal and Tia Lessin, this documentary follows Goodman’s pursuit of truth through a media landscape shaped by corporate consolidation, political pressure, and attacks on the press, offering an urgent and unexpectedly funny portrait of journalism as public service.
