In this weeklong 2D & 3D arts camp, students will use nature as inspiration when exploring a variety of messy mediums. Create larger-than-life acrylic paintings of local flora, splash watercolors on paper, create freestanding sculptures, and use clay, mud, and other natural materials to create sculptural forest palaces!

Lisa Wolfgang (she/her) is a queer, interdisciplinary artist who has been living in Vermont since 2016. She received her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Sculpture and Expanded Media from Alfred University and holds a Certificate in Small Business Management from Northern Vermont University.
Lisa has witnessed the connective power of art experiences and believes that art can be a catalyst for building bridges toward a more sustainable and equitable future. While working in the nonprofit sector, she has been able to take an active role in her community – coordinating programs, curating exhibits, and facilitating events that continue the conversation of sustainability and equity. Lisa has also frequently found herself in the role of mentor or educator to young people, where she finds the most hope for the future. Learn more: https://www.lisawolfgang.com/
Christine Nockels (she/her) is the Youth Programs Assistant at Catamount Arts. Christine graduated with a degree in illustration and toy design from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA, and has working in animation and puppetry, as well as a freelance illustrator and fiber artist. She lives amongst many animals and plants and loves being close to nature in Vermont.
