Description:
In her directorial debut, Scarlett Johansson presents “Eleanor the Great,” a dramedy about 94-year-old Eleanor Morgenstein (June Squibb), who relocates from Florida to Manhattan after the death of her best friend. There she befriends Nina (Erin Kellyman), a 19-year-old student, and becomes entangled in her family’s complex grief. Through wit, stubbornness, and unexpected vulnerability, Eleanor discovers that the stories we tell ourselves can take on a life of their own.
