On Saturday October 14, 2023 Catamount Bluegrass Night will present the New England all-star acoustic trio “The Revenants”, performing an eclectic blend of original and traditional bluegrass, americana and folk songs. This powerhouse group consists of three of New England’s finest acoustic musicians who are alumni of some of the best bands of recent years, such as The Bluegrass Gospel Project, Breakaway, Northern Lights, and The Modern Grass Quintet. The Revenants are: Taylor Amerding – mandolin and vocals, Andy Greene – guitar and vocals, and Kirk Lord – bass.
As always, your hosts for Bluegrass Night will be the north country’s favorite duo, “Bob & Sarah Amos”, who will open the show with selections from their new acclaimed album “Ever Onward”, which hit #1 on the USA Folk Radio Airplay Chart in July 2023 (FolkDJ-L album chart, as compiled by Richard Gillman).
