Lyndon State College
This small college shines a bright light. For the 1,400 students who come here from Vermont, New England, and around the world, Lyndon State College offers a hands-on experiential education, nationally-recognized professional programs, and an intimate, friendly atmosphere—all leading to rewarding careers or graduate study.
Campus events range from the intellectual to the physical, with abundant opportunities for learning and fun. Recent activities include concerts with local resident Neko Case and her band; visits from U.N. ambassadors; a lecture and arts series featuring master classes with luminaries such as U.S. Poet Laureate Ted Kooser; plays and first-run films in the on-campus theater; NCAA Division III athletics; loads of intramural sports; traditional Vermont events such as Sugar on Snow; and ice climbing up Lyndon’s iconic “fountain mountain.”
