THREE DAYS, FOUR SCREENS,
TWENTY AMAZING FILMS
APRIL 1-3

FOCUS ON FILM and CATAMOUNT ARTS are proud to continue their unique collaboration for the second year. Again, in 2011, The Green Mountain Film Festival will include a series of satellite screenings in St. Johnsbury on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, April 1, 2 and 3, that includes both Montpelier festival favorites and screenings unique to St. Johnsbury. This year, Catamount Arts will present four sidebar screenings that will be unique to the Northeast Kingdom location.  The successful and popular High School Filmmakers Showcase will return for the second year with another competition that features teen films from throughout the United States and beyond.  Life in the Northeast Kingdom will feature three short films from Vermont Filmmaker Vince Franke – focusing on life in Caledonia, Essex and Orleans counties. Our Global Campus will feature a documentary made by students in the St. Johnsbury Program at Springfield College. And Northeast Kingdom Filmmaker Bess O'Brien will premier her documentary Ask Us Who We Are. The festival will conclude with a grand finale concert by Little Anthony and the Imperials.
